The Sparkles of the Jazz Constellation

Similar to its last five years, AXIS Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival 2010 will also showcase the sparkling talents of Indonesian and international artists. Due to perform, among which, are Tohpati, Bubi Chen, Indro Hardjodikoro, Oele Pattiselanno, Jeffrey Tahalele, Jakarta Broadway Team, Andre Hehanusa, Ligro Trio, Idang Rasjidi, Syaharani, Elfa’s Bossas, Aksan dan Titi Sjuman, RAN, Barry Likumahuwa, Soulvibe, Dewa Budjana, Gugun Blues Shelter, Opustre Soul Big Band, Lala Suwages, Ecoutez, Notturno and talented young pianist David Manuhutu.

Foreign Jazz Enthusiasts Ready for Java Jazz Festival

The arena of JIExpo Kemayoran, Jakarta, on 5, 6 and 7 March 2010 will surely be packed with jazz enthusiasts, not only those hailing from Jakarta and its surrounding towns, but also from outside of Jakarta and Indonesia. In the previous years, Java Jazz Festival has harvested visitors from Australia, New Zealand, other Asian countries and Europe. The international society has begun to acknowledge Jakarta as The City of Music Festivals as it annually hosts three international festivals. AXIS Jakarta International Java Jazz Festival 2010 is one of the best and largest jazz festivals in the world.
