Marcell Siahaan or more popular as Marcell is one of the best soloists in Indonesia. His turning point was when he released Hanya Memuji, a duet with Shanty.

Tawakal is Marcell's first Islamic religious song since he converted years ago. Marcell collaborated with Gatot Alindo to write and produce the song, while Marcell wrote all the lyrics.
